An open-source technology project and international community advancing geospatial practices.
Cartomize is an open-source technology project dedicated to simplifying and automating map design. It develops tools that help students, researchers, professionals and institutions turn geographic data into clear, consistent maps ready for research, communication and decision-making.
Cartomize Community currently operates as an international community network connected to the open-source Cartomize project. It brings together students, researchers, educators, developers, geospatial professionals and Cartomize users around training, knowledge sharing, collaboration and the development of geospatial initiatives.
Make professional cartography and geospatial technologies more accessible, simpler and more collaborative. Cartomize develops open-source solutions, supports practical skills in GIS, remote sensing and geospatial programming, and encourages initiatives that meet the needs of communities, universities and territories.
Progressively build an international geospatial community based on openness, collaboration and knowledge sharing, enabling students, researchers, educators, developers and professionals to use geographic data more effectively to understand territories, support research and contribute to decision-making.
